WE ARE MOVING
Warrington & District Motor Club will be changing it's meeting place to 'The Thorn Inn' at Appleton Thorn WA4 4QX on the 12th August
Warrington and District Motor Club is a friendly club of Motorsport enthusiasts with a core membership from the North Cheshire area but also with members from across the UK. The club is affiliated to the Motorsport Association and is a member of both the Association of North Western Car Clubs & the Welsh Association of Motor Clubs. The club is also one of the founder members of Motorsport North West Ltd.
The clubs main interest is rallying with members competing/organising/marshaling across all disciplines. We currently have members competing in Special Stage rallies up to National Championship level, road rallies and historic rallies. We also have members competing or involved in other motorsport disciplines and welcome anyone with an interest in motoring or motorsport

| MEETING PLACE |
The club meets every Tuesday from about 8:30pm at THE THORN INN Public House, situated on the B5356 at Appleton Thorn WA4 4QX. (See below for location map)

The club is actually one of the oldest in the country with origins dating back to 1928 when Warrington Motor Club was first recognised by the RAC, we understand that back in those days it was very much a combined car and motorcycle club. More recent history shows that the club became Enville motor club in the late 1950's early 60's ( named after Enville street in Warrington where the club was based. The club finally became Warrington & Distrct Motor Club in the early 1970's.

The club organises one main event of their own, this being the Enville Stages Rally normally held in the summer, additionally the club is heavilly involved in the organisation of the North West Stages, a large multi-venue stage rally based in Blackpool. WDMC also organise regular navigation scatter events and run a number of stages on major rallies during the year such as the Cambrian and Lombard Revival Rally . As well as the competing members there are WDMC members active most weekends helping out on various North West events either as marshals, timekeepers or radio operators.
